Indie Film Studio Wins Accolades, Travels to Dadgum, Texas
Assisting Venus awarded in writing and feature film categories while new comedy shoots next month in Austin

LOS ANGELES, Apr. 19, 2010 -- Terran Enterprises is proud announce that its independent film starring Micheal Steger (90210), Michele Martín, Jordan Bridges and Julian Sands has received an Award of Excellence in the feature film category from the Accolades Competition. Michele Martín and Charles Huddleston also wrote the film and received the Award of Merit for the screenplay.
Assisting Venus is a romantic arthouse film that follows Greg (Steger), a young man obsessed with Sophia, the confident young novelist who lives next door (Martín). When Sophia hires Greg, the traditional male/female roles are reversed when she retains her power and he submits to her will. The film has been previewed to select film festival audiences via an exclusive smartphone app and will premiere theatrically at film festivals later this year.
The studio also announced today that their next feature film will be an oddball comedy entitled Dadgum, Texas, which will begin principal photography next month in a small town outside Austin. The film follows Jennie Lee "Baby" Magee, a young woman "fixin' to get herself hitched." Her happiest day before the happiest day of her life is progressively and hilariously destroyed when she finds out the perfect life she thought she had was a lie and the wedding dress store is held up by two bumbling bandits.
Like Venus, Dadgum is a collaboration between Martín and director Charles Huddleston. "It's going to be a really fun movie, both to make and to watch," said Huddleston, "the warm people of Texas have been very welcoming of our production."
