Terran Enterprises is dedicated to providing an artist-friendly environment for top filmmakers and talent with a mandate to create filmed entertainment that is commercially viable. Whether exploiting original stories or adapting/reimagining classic works, the company applies eclectic tastes and inter-culture concepts to its diverse slate of motion pictures for the worldwide market.
The first film projects from Terran Enterprises are the outrageous comedy "Dadgum, Texas" and the high art drama "Assisting Venus."
"Assisting Venus" is directed by Huddleston from a screenplay he co-wrote with Martin. The film stars Michael Steger (90210), Michele Martin, Jordan Bridges (Rizzoli & Isles) and Julian Sands (24, Ocean's 13). In the film, a young man is hired as an assistant to a dominant young woman and their relationship becomes a twisted concerto of love, learning and obsession.
"Dadgum, Texas" stars Michele Martin, Martin Morales, Jeff Fahey (Lost), Dana Wheeler-Nicholson (Fletch, Friday Night Lights) and Peggy Stewart (The Riches, The Office). It is also written by Martin and directed by Huddleston. In the film, small town darling Jennie Lee "Baby" Magee is getting hitched to a hunky semi-pro football player. She goes to pick out the perfect dress, but her special day is threatened when the store is held up by two bumbling bandits, her fiancé falls in love with her wedding planner, and her white bread life spins out of control when she finds out she's adopted, and a Mexican.
On the TV side, Terran shepherds the development and production of a wide range of reality based programming, scripted series, specials, television sitcoms and made-for-television movies in an effort to build a leadership position in market segments outside the realm of the major studios, producing and delivering cost-efficient programming to cable networks and ancillary outlets hungry for original programming.
